Dr. Levent Sümer began his professional career in the United States and worked as a senior manager in major companies in Türkiye in the fields of construction project management and real estate development. The companies he worked for include:

Dr. Sumer serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the International Project Management Institute (IPMI). He also holds a Professional Project Manager (PMP) certificate and is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).
